🌊 The Crypto Cycle — Where We Are Now

We’re in Phase 2 — the part where ETH starts leading and the timeline fills with quiet “flippening?” takes. Money rotates off BTC strength and into majors.

The 4-phase playbook:

  1. BTC lead — flows chase Bitcoin, ETH lags.

  2. ETH lead — ETH/BTC breaks up, chatter on flippening, rotation begins into large caps. (← now)

  3. Large Caps run — SOL, ADA, TON, ARB, etc. go parabolic while ETH still outperforms BTC.

  4. Altseason — mid/micro caps and memes rip; euphoria, “everything works”… until it doesn’t.

Tells to watch now:

  • ETH/BTC trend and BTC dominance rolling over

  • Rotation breadth into large caps (sustained, not one-day pops)

  • Funding/open interest getting frothy, DEX volumes climbing, gas pressure
